ABOUT UTAH VALLEY UNIVERSITYThe Wolverines play in the WAC. They are 4-5 on the season. They take on the Air Force Academy in Orem Thursday night before traveling to Pocatello for the game on Saturday.
UVU and ISU have both played Boise State this season. The Wolverines defeated the Broncos 68-60 while the Bengals fell 86-62 in their game. Utah Valley is led in scoring by Rhaiah Spooner-Knight at 14.3 PPG.
SERIES VS UVUIdaho State leads the overall series 5-4 and is 3-1 against the Wolverines in Pocatello. The home team has won the last five matchups.
UVU won the last game 59-56 in 2013 in Orem. The Bengals took a 56-54 lead with 3:52 to play in the game on a layup by
Anna Lee Policicchio. The lead was the first for Idaho State but the Wolverines outscored the Bengals 5-0 to finish out the game and claim the victory.
Idaho State had two shots in the final 40 seconds of the game while trailing by just one point.
Jasmine Lemon missed a baseline 3-pointer with 32 seconds left but the Bengals got the ball back before
Kara Jenkins missed another shot with 10 seconds to play.
LAST GAME RECAP FOR IDAHO STATEThe Bengals fell 59-40 to the University of Utah. ISU outscored the Utes 27-23 in the second half while holding the home team to just 23.5% shooting.
Apiphany Woods (13 pts) scored in double figures for the five game in the last six.
MAGIC NUMBER IS 70ISU is undefeated 2-0 when they score at least 70 points in a game this season. They are 23-1 in the last four seasons when they reach that mark.

DOUBLE-FIGURES FOR WOODSApiphany Woods has scored in double-figures in five of the last six games including a career-high 23 points against Drake. She is shooting 48.5% over that stretch. Her 15 assists during the six-games is second on the team.
FG DIFFERENTIALIn the two victories this season Idaho State is shooting 48.4% while holding their opponents to 38.8%. In the five losses the Bengals are shooting 35.4% and allowing 46.8%.
DOUBLE-DOUBLESGrace Kenyon is the only player to achieve a double-double this season when she score 17 points and pulled down 13 rebounds against Northwest Nazarene
