THIS WEEK IN IDAHO STATE BASKETBALLIdaho State travels to Salt Lake City to face the University of Utah Wednesday December 10 at 7 p.m. The Bengals return to Pocatello to battle Utah Valley University Saturday December 13 at 2 p.m. on the ICCU Court inside Reed Gym.

ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY OF UTAHThe Utes play in the Pac-12 Conference and are 3-4 on the season. The Utes enter the game on a two-game winning streak after defeating Utah State and UNLV in their previous games.
Taryn Wicijowski leads the team in scoring at 16.1 PPG.
LAST MATCHUP VS UTAHThe Utes defeated the Bengals 56-31 on December 6, 2011 in Salt Lake City. Utah has won 28 of the 29 meetings between the two schools.
ISU's only victory in the series came in 2010 when they defeated the Utes 71-58 in overtime. Ashleigh Vella scored 31 points and Chelsea Pickering added 17 to help lead the Bengals to the upset.
ABOUT UTAH VALLEY UNIVERSITYThe Wolverines play in the WAC. They are 4-5 on the season and will take on the Air Force Academy on Thursday before traveling to play Idaho State on Saturday.
UVU and ISU have both played Boise State this season. The Wolverines defeated the Broncos 68-60 while the Bengals fell 86-62 in their game.
Utah Valley is led in scoring by Rhaiah Spooner-Knight at 14.3 PPG.
