POCATELLO, Idaho – The Idaho State women's basketball team is headed to the Aloha State for the first time since 1990 to take on the Rainbow Wahine of Hawai'i Friday, Dec. 8 at 10 p.m. MST. It will be the only game this week for Idaho State.
BENGAL PREVIEW
· Idaho State has suffered two losses in a row for the first time this season with a 61-53 loss at Wyoming on Sunday, Dec. 3. A big 22-point fourth quarter was not enough for the Bengals to overcome Wyoming's lead, and the Cowgirls held on for the eight-point win, 61-53.
· Through eight games, the Bengals are averaging 70.8 points per game shooting a conference-best 44.1 percent from the floor and 44.4 percent from three. ISU averages 41.2 rebounds per game with a +8.5 rebounding margin to go along with 8.3 steals per game and 2.0 blocks per game. The Bengals also boast a conference-best +9.6 scoring margin.
· Idaho State is led in scoring by senior guard
Brooke Blair at 14.1 points per game while junior guard
Saylair Grandon also averages double-figures with 11.3 points per game. Junior guard
Grace Kenyon rounds out the double-figure scoring for the Bengals at 10.9 per contest. Six players average at least six points per contest while five add at least eight points per game.
· Four Bengals average at least five rebounds per game, led by sophomore forward
Sai Tapasa with 6.4 per contest. Kenyon and Grandon are good for at least five boards per contest, averaging 5.6 and 5.5 respectively.

Seton Sobolewski is in his 10th season with the program and carries a 155-134 overall record (.536) and has led the team to two postseason tournament appearances: one NCAA tournament berth and one WNIT tournament appearance.
SCOUTING HAWAI'I
· The Rainbow Wahine are 5-3 overall on the season with a 4-2 mark at home. The 'Bows have picked up wins against Seattle, Northern Arizona, San Diego, Marist and Montana State with losses at Portland and against Purdue and USC.
· Through eight games, Hawai'i averages 68.2 points per contest shooting 43.7 percent from the floor and 33.1 percent from long range. The 'Bows are also averaging 34.6 rebounds per game.
· Three players average double-figures for Hawai'i led by Sarah Toeaina with 14.4 points per game to go along with 5.4 rebounds. Julissa Tago adds 13.1 points per game and Lahni Salanoa chips in 10.6. Makenna Woodfolk leads the squad in rebounds with 7.8 per contest.
· Hawai'i is led by Head Coach Laura Beeman who is in her sixth year with the program.
· SERIES REVIEW: This will be the third time in history that Idaho State has faced Hawai'i, and the Rainbow Wahine claim a 3-0 lead in the series. In the last meeting, Hawai'i defeated Idaho State 64-61 in Manoa, Hawai'i on Dec. 21, 1990.
