SERIES REVIEW
Montana State leads the series 42-35, but the Bengals have won eight of the last nine meetings. Since 2013, ISU has only lost one game to the Bobcats which game in an 82-80 overtime loss in Bozeman on Feb. 27 in 2016.
BENGAL BITES
- The Bengals dropped a 61-58 decision to Eastern Washington Saturday afternoon in their final regular-season home game of the 2017 season. It was just the second loss for Idaho State during the month of February, and it might have cost them the No. 4 seed and a first-round bye in the BSC Championships next week. Seeding will not be determined until following Friday night's final regular-season games.
- Through 27 games this season, the Bengals are 16-11 with a 10-6 mark in BSC play. ISU averages 61.1 points and 40.9 rebounds per game which ranks fourth in the conference. As a squad, ISU limits its opponents to 60.9 points per contest to lead the Big Sky.
- FEBRUARY BY THE NUMBERS: OUTSTANDING ORS: After cooling off following her superb start to her freshman season (five-straight double-figure scoring games), Estefania Ors has once more started to heat up. During the month of February, she scored in double-figures six-straight games beginning with 10 points against Portland State on Feb. 9 and ending with 14 points against Idaho on Feb. 23. Over the course of the month, she has shot 50.8 percent from the floor (33-for-65) and 55.2 percent (16-for-29) from beyond-the-arc. She is also stellar from the charity stripe, converting 21-0f-25 for a .840 clip. She grabbed 27 boards (17 offensive) in February to average 3.4 per contest, and finished the month averaging 12.9 points per game.
