POCATELLO, Idaho- Idaho State senior running back
James Madison was named the Root Sports Big Sky Conference Offensive Player of the Week and US Bank Bengal Athlete of the Week for his performance last week vs. Northern Arizona.

Madison, had no problem adding yardage to his resume on Saturday when he rushed for a season-high 146 yards on 19 carries in Idaho State's 56-42 win over Northern Arizona. He averaged 7.7 yards per carry as he made his way to the end zone twice on scores from 51 and four yards out.
He also caught one pass for 21 yards. Idaho State's 315 rushing yards as a team, tied for the sixth most in a game since 2007. This is the first honor of the season for Madison.
The Bengals are back at home Saturday, Oct. 6 for a 3:35 p.m. contest vs. Idaho in Holt Arena. It is Stripe the Stadium. Fans should wear orange if there tickets are in sections A, C, E, G, J, M, O, Q, S, U.
Fans should wear black if there tickets are in sections B, D, F, H, K, L, N, P, R, T.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early for the game. Parking at Holt Arena is expected to be sold out. Overflow parking is available at Reed Gym and doors to Holt Arena will open 90 minutes before kickoff.
