POCATELLO, Idaho- For the first time in three years the Idaho State football team will square off against Southern Utah on Saturday, Oct. 26, at 2 p.m. in Cedar City, Utah. This is the first time the Bengals have played in Cedar City since losing 19-9 in 2013.

Southern Utah is 1-7 and 0-4 in Big Sky Conference play. SUU averages 22.50 points per game and gives up 38.63. The T-Birds rush for 100.3 years, pass for 280.13 for a total of 380.4 yards of total offense. The SUU defense gives up 211.5 yards on the ground, 208.38 passing yards for 419.9 yards of total offense.
James Felila leads the SUU rushing attack with 78 carries for 261 yards and two touchdowns. Chris Helbig has thrown for 2,016 yards with nine touchdowns and nine interceptions. Lance Lawson leads the receivers with 62 receptions for 592 yards and three touchdowns. Alex Sims and AJ Stanley lead the defense with 52 tackles.
