The two teams last met up on Nov. 9, 2012, in Manhattan, Kansas. The Bengals kept the Wildcats on their toes, falling just 62-54 to open the 2012-13 season. ISU was down just 29-26 at the half and also out rebounded the Wildcats. Kansas State held ISU to just 35 percent shooting from the floor and 22 percent from three. Ash Vella led ISU with 12 points; she was the only one to reach double figures. Meanwhile KSU'S Brittany Chambers had a double-double 22 points and 10 rebounds.

The Wildcats are 2-1 to start the 2020-21 season with a 66-51 victory over Southern University and a recent 47-33 victory over Central Arkansas. KSU fell 60-49 to Kentucky in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge. Last season, KSU went 16-13 with a 10-8 record in Big 12 conference play.
