POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State women's basketball team lost to Montana State, 74-55, on Thursday night in Reed Gym.

The Bobcats went 16-20 from the free-throw line while the Bengals were just 3-3. Both teams combined for 38 turnovers.

The leading scorers for the Bengals were Callie Bourne with 17, Dora Goles with 14 and Diaba Konate with 10. Those were the only players for ISU to score in double-digits. Bourne's 17-point game marks her 12th consecutive double-digit game.

Idaho State trailed for most of the game except for an early 2-0 lead. The Bengals struggled to find their offensive chemistry and had trouble stopping Montana State.

The Bobcats took a 10 point lead early in the second quarter and extended that lead to 20 points at 55-35 with 3:18 left in the third quarter. They would go up by as much as 25 points in the fourth quarter.

The loss snaps ISU's four-game winning streak and puts the Bengals record at 12-11 and 8-6 in the Big Sky Conference. The Bengals are currently fifth in the conference.

Idaho State's next game will be at home against Montana on Feb. 15 at 2 p.m. in Reed Gym.
