POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State women's basketball team defeated Eastern Washington, 77-49, on Wednesday night in Reed Gym.

The Bengals (17-11, 13-6) finished the game shooting 50 percent from the floor and 42 percent from three to combat the Eagles' 45 percent from the field goal range while holding them to just 27 percent from beyond the three point arc. ISU outrebounded EWU, 36-25, while scoring 21 points off of 18 Eastern turnovers.

Montana Oltrogge led ISU in her second-consecutive 19 point game to tie her career-high.
Dora Goles finished with 18 points followed by
Delaney Moore with 13. Oltrogge and Moore each tied their career-high in steals with three.

Diaba Konate tossed a career-high seven assists.

The game was close early as it took the Bengals nearly four minutes to score their first basket. The early 4-0 deficit quickly turned into a 9-6 lead with 3:20 left in the first quarter. The Bengals led 11-8 after the quarter and would then outscore Eastern Washington 27-12 to lead 38-20 at halftime.
Idaho State led 19-15 with 8:23 left in the second quarter. ISU then closed out the half on a 19-5 run. The offensive spurt was sparked by 10 points from Goles and eight from Oltrogge in the quarter. Idaho State shot 62.5 from the field in the quarter.
Idaho State extended its lead to as many as 26 points at 58-32 with 2:15 remaining in the third quarter after a 3-pointer by
Jordan Sweeney.
The 77-49 victory was its largest lead of the game.
Idaho State concludes the regular season Friday, at 7 p.m. vs. the University of Idaho in the Idaho Central Credit Union Battle of the Domes.
