SPOKANE, Wash.- The Idaho State football team was picked to finish ninth in the preseason coaches and media polls that were released on Monday at the Big Sky Conference Kickoff at the Davenport Hotel.
The only difference in the coaches and media poll was who was picked to finish last. In the coaches poll, Cal Poly was picked 12
th and Northern Colorado 13
th while the media poll had Northern Colorado 12 and Cal Poly 13.
Weber State was picked to win the league while Montana was picked second, Eastern Washington third and Montana State fourth.
Sacramento State was tabbed fifth, UC Davis sixth, NAU seventh, Idaho eighth, Idaho State ninth, Portland State 10
th and SUU 11
th.
The Bengals open the season on Sept. 4 vs. North Dakota in Holt Arena. Season and single-game tickets are on sale at the Holt Arena Ticket office.
