POCATELLO, Idaho – Idaho State soccer dropped its contest with BYU 7-0 Thursday night in Provo, Utah.
After giving up five goals early in the match. The Bengals kept fighting, holding the cougars scoreless for 45 minutes of play.
BYU was able to tack on two more goals in the final 20 minutes of the game.
McKayla Wetsel had three saves in 90 minutes in goal for the Bengals.
The Orange and Black are back home Sunday, Sept. 19 to face off against CSU Bakersfield in one final non-conference match before starting Big Sky Conference play next week.
