POCATELLO, Idaho – Idaho State women's basketball has announced the addition of Alyse Aby to the squad for the 2023-24 season. Aby, a 5-10 guard, comes to the Bengals from Laurel, Mont.
As a multi-sport athlete at Laurel High School, Aby competed on the basketball team, played soccer, and ran track.
"The first two words I would use to describe Alyse, athletic scorer!" remarked Head Coach Seton Sobolewski. "She has the ability to use her speed and length to get to the basket and she has the shooting range to hit the three. She is going to be a dominant guard in the Big Sky."
During her time with Laurel HS basketball, Aby earned all-conference honors.
Off the court, Aby earned all-academic honors twice.
Aby joins four other signees from this group to join the Bengals next season.
