Soccer Returns Home for 'Orange Out' Match with Gonzaga

POCATELLO, Idaho – For the first time in a month, the Idaho State soccer team returns home to Davis Field. The Bengals host the Gonzaga Zags on Sunday, Sept. 18 with kickoff set for 1:00 PM.

The match will be broadcast on ESPN+ and Brandon Baney will be on the call for KISU 91.1 FM. Live Stats will also be provided for the match.

The match is set as an 'Orange Out' Bengal fans are encouraged to wear their Orange in support of the team.

This will be the ninth meeting of the Bengals and Zags since the first meeting of the programs in 2000. Gonzaga leads the overall series 5-1-2.

Gonzaga is 2-2-2 this season with wins against CSU Bakersfield and Cal Poly. Losses against Texas and Pittsburg and Draws versus Creighton and Oregon.

The Zags are averaging 1.83 goals per game with 49 of its 112 shots on goal this season.

The Zags have heavily out fouled their opponents sitting at 64 to 46 fouls.

No. 8 Erin Healy leads the Zags offensively with three goals and 9 shots on goal this season.

In Goal, No. 0 Lyza Bossellmann has a .699 save percentage and has a 1.17 goal allowed average this season.
