POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State football team lost 31-16 to Central Arkansas on Saturday afternoon in Holt Arena.
The Bengals led 3-0 after the first quarter but would trail 28-3 before getting two touchdowns in the fourth quarter.
Idaho State had 408 yards of total offense while Central Arkansas had 418 yards. The Bengals had 179 rushing yards and 284 yards passing.
Hunter Hays was 25-36 with two interceptions and 284 yards.
Xavier Guillory caught six balls for 90 yards while
Cyrus Wallace had five for 44 yards.
Raiden Hunter had a career-best 16 carries for 72 yards on the ground.
Charles Ike led the defense with nine tackles and
Josh Alford had eight and
Jack Genova seven.
Idaho State returns to the field Saturday, September 24 for a 1 p.m. contest at Northern Colorado.
