GREELEY, Colo.- The Idaho State football team lost 35-14 to Northern Colorado on Saturday afternoon at Nottingham Field.
The game was tied at 14 going into the fourth quarter but the Bears scored 21 fourth quarter points to earn the victory.
Idaho State had 423 yards of total offense while holding UNC to 338 yards.
The Bengals offense had 282 passing yards and 141 on the ground.
Xavier Guillory had a career-best 120 yards receiving, one touchdown and seven receptions while
Jalen Johnson and Shane Dailey each had 56 yards receiving.
Raiden Hunter had a career-high 11 yards on 17 carries.
Hunter Hays was 25-34 with two touchdowns, one interception and 264 yards.
Sagan Gronauer was 2-5 with 18 yards passing.
Charles Ike led the defense with nine tackles.
Quantraill Morris-Walker had eight tackles.
The game was tied at 0 after the first quarter. UNC scored first with 12:22 left in the second quarter. ISU then countered to tie the game seven with
Shane Dailey Jr. caught his first career touchdown on a 29-yard reception from Hays.
The Bears went up 14-7 later in the quarter but ISU tied the game when Guillory caught a 51-yard touchdown reception from Hays.
