Bengals Fall to Nevada 3-1, Finish Tournament 2-1

SPOKANE, WA – The Idaho State Bengals (4-2, 0-0 BSC) fell in four sets to the Nevada Wolfpack 3-1 (27-25, 27-25, 25-13, 25-15).

The Wolfpack jumped out to an early lead in the first set and held onto it until late in the set. Facing a 22-15 deficit, the Bengals never stopped pressing, pulling back to tie the match at 24 and force extra points. Nevada was able to pull away at the end and take the first set.

The Bengals then roared back in the second, holding the lead for the majority of the set. As in the first, the fighting back and forth was ferocious and the two teams, again, battled to extra points. This time, the Bengals didn't back down and won the second set 27-25, capped with a set winning block by Freshman middle Emrie Satuala.

The Wolfpack was able to control the match in sets three and four and win the match 3-1.
