On Sunday morning's match against the Lewis-Clark State Warriors the Bengals defeated the Warriors 7-0. All six women Hana Cho, Lola O'Lideadha, Sol O'Lideadha, Sydney Morris, Stefanya Shalakhova, and Olivia Mikkelson won in straight sets. In the doubles matches the Bengals won all three matches in a single set.

Head Coach Gretchen Maloney had this to say about the teams' weekend in Boise, "It was a solid weekend of tennis! We battled really well against Boise State, we had a couple close losses in three sets. We are still working on depth and being aggressive at the right time. Our doubles play was good in the sense that we were able to set up the point, but struggled a little bit with execution of the final shot. Against Lewis-Clark State the girls really plaued confident and worked on depth and consistency."

Idaho State will be returning home for a weekend of tennis in Reed Gym where they will host their first home match of 2023 against Utah Tech on Friday, February 3rd at 1 p.m. The Bengals will also be squaring off against Utah State on Saturday and Colorado Mesa University on Sunday.
