POCATELLO, Idaho – The Bengals' women's tennis squad played a stellar match on Saturday in Reed Gym as they downed of the College of Idaho Yotes 7-0.
"The girls really took care of business today" said Head Coach
Gretchen Maloney. In the doubles matches the Bengals swept. At Doubles No. 1
Sol O'Lideadha and
Lola O'Lideadha took down their opponents 6-1. On Doubles No. 2,
Hana Cho and
Leah Kuruvilla took care of business downing their opponents 6-1. And at Doubles No. 3
Olivia Mikkelson and
Stefanya Shalakhova defeated their opponents 6-0.
The Bengals continued with this same tenacity in the singles matches as we saw
Sol O'Lideadha at the No. 1 Singles match put on a dominant performance, as she won 6-2, 6-0. In the No. 2 Singles match
Megan Lang-Gould downed her Yote opponent 6-0, 6-2. We saw continued dominance as
Leah Kuruvilla (No. 3),
Sydney Morris (No. 5), and
Olivia Mikkelson (No. 6) all swept their opponents handily 6-0, 6-0. And at the No. 4 Singles match
Stefanya Shalakhova came out victorious 6-0, 6-1.
The Bengals are back in action next weekend as they will be taking on Big Sky foe the University of Montana Grizzlies on Saturday, February 11
th at 1 P.M.
