POCATELLO, Idaho – The Idaho State Bengals wrapped up the final scrimmage of the 2024 Fall Camp Saturday afternoon in the ICCU Dome. The Bengals wore shoulder pads only with light contact headed into game week.
The Bengals focused on situational plays and cementing their playbook while working on the fine tuning details needed as they prepare to take on the Oregon State Beavers, August 31 in Corvallis.
There was a focus on special teams during the length of the scrimmage, with the Bengals working on any possible special teams situation that will arise.
Ross Bolger, Gabe Panikowsky and Mason Lindberg all showed strength in the kicking game with all three making their field goals, PATs and successful kickoff situations. On a post-safety punt, Bolger showed his leg strength as he bombed the ball off of his foot to the roof of the dome.
Safeties/Special Teams coach Scott Thiessen discussed the growth of the Bengal Specialists after the scrimmage.
Cody Hawkins then discussed the Bengals and the team's changed headed into game week.

The Bengals open the 2024 season, traveling to Corvallis, Oregon to face off against the Oregon State Beavers on August, 31 with kickoff set for 3:30 PM PT.
