POCATELLO, Idaho - The Idaho State Women's Basketball team fell to the Northern Colorado Bears 59-51 Monday evening in Greeley.
After a close back and forth battle that was tied at halftime, the Bears pulled away in the 2nd half for the win over the Orange and Black. In the fourth quarter ISU hit their free throw attempts but only shot 2-for-12 from the field which proved too slow.
ISU shot 33.3 percent from the floor on 20-of-60 shooting for the game while the Bears pulled away with 40.4 percent shooting.
Tasia Jordan led the Bengals with 16 points on seven of 17 shooting and tied the team-high with seven boards.
The Bengals as a team out-rebounded the Bears 40-35 with Jordan and Piper Carlson both grabbing seven boards.
Bengal freshman Mackenzie Marenchin had a career-best two blocks in the game with the Bears.
After the long road trip, the Bengals are finally back home this Saturday taking on the Weber State Wildcats in Reed Gym at 2:00 PM
