POCATELLO, Idaho – The Idaho State Bengals are looking to do what no Bengal team has done since the 2015, cross the 30 game win mark. The Bengals (29-13, 8-1) have a chance to do it this weekend as ISU hosts the University of Montana in a three-game Big Sky Series.
This is the last home series for the Bengals in 2025 and will be exciting with multiple conference and individual team implications.
Saturday is senior day, the Bengals will honor four seniors at the conclusion of the game. Ashlee LaRue, Piper Tago, Kate Hogan and Gracie Smith will all receive their honors for playing in the Orange and Black.

Montana Griz
The Montana Grizzlies are 8-34, 1-8 this season with their lone Big Sky win coming this past weekend as they blanked Portland State in the series opener 7-0. It was Montana's first DI victory since March 2 and their 2nd shutout of the 2025 season.
Montana has a team batting average of .216 and are scoring 2.79 runs per game.

·     The Bengals are 8-1 in conference play now with series wins over Sacramento State, Northern Colorado and Weber State. Idaho State has outscored opponents in conference play 65-26, and the Bengal pitching staff is throwing a 2.46 ERA, holding opponents to .261 BA.
·     The Bengal Bombers have hit 48 homeruns this season combined, 42nd in the nation.
·     Ava Brown ranks 8th in the nation in home runs with 17 on the year.
·     The Bengals have the No.1 pitching staff in the Big Sky, with a 3.50 ERA.
·     Lizzy Tommasini and Kasey Aguinaga rank Nos 1 and 2 in the conference with 2.71 and 2.75 ERAs respectively.

After Montana, the Bengals hit the road for the final trip of the year, first a re-match with Boise State in Boise and then the final Big Sky Series of the year, taking on the Vikings of Portland State.
