POCATELLO, Idaho – Idaho State Specialist Mason Lindberg has been named the Stats Perform FCS National Special Teams Player of the Week.

Lindberg was automatic in the Bengals win over Pac-12 Utah State this weekend, going five-for-five in field goals, converting all his PAT attempts and handling kickoff duties for the Bengals.
Lindberg's five field goals came at distances of 28, 48, 25, 43 and 41. The 48 yard knock through the uprights set a new career-best for the Sophomore Bengal.
Lindberg scored 17 total points on the day, 5 field goals and 2 PATs, outscoring the Utah State Aggie offense, and tying their total point total
The is the first StatsPerform National Weekly Award for the Bengals in the Cody Hawkins era.
Lindberg and the Bengals are back on the gridiron this Saturday at Home in the ICCU Dome taking on the San Diego Torreros at 4:00 PM.
