Idaho State: (2014) Appeared in all 12 games ... played a key role on special teams ... had nine tackles on the season ... academic all-conference.

(2013) Appeared in 11 games ... saw time as a defensive back and on special teams ... had six tackles on the season and one forced fumble ... named to the Big Sky Conference All-Academic team.

(2012) Played in all 11 games for the Bengals ... was a key player on special teams ... finished the season with five tackles ... was named to the Big Sky All-Academic Team.

(2011) Played in six games including the wins against Western State and Northern Colorado at defensive back...also played at Northern Colorado and Sacramento State and against Montana and Eastern Washington.

High School: Prepped at Skyline High School where he lettered in football, basketball and track all four years … was the football team-MVP in 2008-09 and earned 5A second-team all-state as a quarterback in 2009 … named the 2009 District 4-5-6 Player of the Year … named the High Country Offensive Player of the Year and was named by the Idaho Falls Post Register first-team quarterback … threw for over 2,500 yards and 30 touchdowns.

Personal: Born Oct. 21, 1991 … parents are Scott and Gina Berger … father was the starting linebacker for the Idaho State 1981 National Championship team … has one sister, Katie.
