Idaho State (2024): Eric Johnson joined the Bengals as a graduate transfer for the 2024 season as part of the Bengals strong passing offense... Johson appeared in 10 games for the Bengals in 2024... Johnson had 11 receptions on the season, averaging 9.8 yards per catch with a season-long reception of 19 yards... Johnson scored twice in the season, first againt the Western Oregon Wolves on 09/07/2024 and then again against the Southern Utah Thunderbirds on 09/21/2024.


Lehigh University

As a senior: Limited to seven games due to injury… caught 10 passes for 131 yards… had three games with two receptions… caught touchdown passes of 21 and 22 yards and two touchdowns against Holy Cross (11/4)… started five games in all… named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
 
As a junior (2022): Started all 11 games at wide receiver… ranked second on the Mountain Hawks in receptions and receiving yards… had team-leading five touchdown catches… had first career touchdown reception at Georgetown (9/10)… had huge game against Colgate (11/12) with 10 receptions for 194 yards and game-winning touchdown with 22 seconds remaining… also had 43-yard catch in Colgate game… had receiving touchdowns against Princeton and Fordham and made fantastic one-handed grab for Lehigh’s lone touchdown at Lafayette (11/19)… finished season with seven catches for 108 yards at Lafayette.
 
As a sophomore (2021): Led Lehigh in receptions and receiving yards…  started all 11 games at wide receiver… enjoyed career-best game with nine catches for 121 yards at Fordham (10/23)… had 46 yard reception against the Rams… had four receptions for 33 yards against Princeton (9/18)… five catches for 52 yards versus Georgetown (11/13).
 
As a freshman (spring 2021): Started all three games at wide receiver… tied for second on team with seven receptions and ranked third on Mountain Hawks in receiving yards… debuted with three catches for 44 yards, including a 28-yarder against Holy Cross (3/13)… had two receptions in each of other two games…named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
 
In high school: Team captain in 2019… had 46 catches for 769 yards and three touchdowns as a senior… second team all-district selection… led district in receptions and total yards… set program single game receiving record with 256 yards… team offensive MVP… two-time Academic All-District… also lettered in basketball and track and field.
 
Personal: Son of Eric Sr. and Dana… sisters Erin and Jade and brother Joshua… father played basketball at Dillard University… sister Jade played basketball at UT-Arlington and Arlington Baptist.
