Personal: Mya is the daughter of Brandon and Bonny Bartlett and has a brother, Liam. Outside of softball, she enjoys reading, swing dancing, painting, figure skating, and spending time with friends and family. Mya chose Idaho State because of the strong community support for athletics, the supportive and attentive coaching staff, the welcoming team atmosphere, and the quality facilities and resources provided to student-athletes. She also appreciates the small-town feel and cooler climate compared to Las Vegas, noting that Idaho State felt like the right fit from the start.
