Cal State Stanislaus (2025-26): Named CCAA Freshman of the Year and earned All-Conference Second Team honors following his freshman campaign… started 27 of 28 games while averaging 12.9 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 1.14 blocks per game… totaled 360 points and 205 rebounds on the season... Finished 19th in the CCAA in scoring, 4th in rebounding, and 6th in blocks.

Personal: Malachi is originally from Houston, Texas, and comes to Idaho State after spending his freshman season at Cal State Stanislaus and previously attending Inderkum High School. He is majoring in University Studies and chose Idaho State because of the opportunity and the coaching staff. Away from basketball, Malachi enjoys watching movies and shows, playing video games, and fishing, which he says is his hidden talent. A fan of the Houston Rockets, Kevin Durant, and the Kansas City Chiefs, he lists French toast, pho, and crawfish boils among his favorite foods, while the new Chipotle will soon become his go-to spot in Pocatello. Malachi says winning CCAA Freshman of the Year was the most memorable moment of his career and arrives at ISU after earning CCAA Freshman of the Year honors, All-CCAA Second Team recognition, and five Cal State Stanislaus Warrior of the Week honors. Before games, he sticks to fruit bowls, music, and listening to Rod Wave.
