Chase Grabau has been selected as the Bengal Athlete of the Week for games played the week of Dec. 12-Dec. 18.
Against Utah, Grabau had 11 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals.
Grabau leads Idaho State in assists, averaging 3.8 per game this season. He also leads in steals with 2.3 per game. Grabau has the second-most points on the team this season with 107, averaging 10.7 per game. Grabau is also fourth in three-point percentage (.286) and third in three-point field goals made (0.6). He is also fifth in free throw percentage (.740).
In the Big Sky Conference, Grabau is first in assist to turnover ratio (2.5), second in steals (2.3) and fourth in assists (3.8). He is also tied for ninth in offensive rebounds (2.1) and is 13
th in both field goal percentage (.478) and free throw percentage (.740).
Grabau and the rest of the Bengals take on Wyoming Thursday, Dec. 22 in Holt Arena at 7 p.m.
