Senior Chloe Palakovich became the third woman to lead the Bengals this season with her second-place finish and time of 15:42 in the women's 4K. Notably, Palakovich won the Big Sky Outdoor Championship in the women's 800m and her time of 2:09.63 ranks second on the Idaho State all-time best performances in that event.

COACH BRIAN JANSSEN
“We are just trying to get better each week,” said Head Cross Country Coach Brian Janssen after Saturday's race. “We are trying to get the men to pack up a little better. They didn't do a great job of that today. We're a young team and they are trying to learn to train properly and they are doing a good job with that. Things are going okay, and we are getting better slowly.”
