POCATELLO, Idaho - Junior
Audrey Urlacher led the Bengal women in a 25-30 loss to Southern Utah with her second-place finish of 10:47.50 in the women's 3K. At last year's Big Sky Championships, Urlacher finished fifth for the Bengals and 20th overall with a time of 19:04.95 in the women's 5K.
Chloe Palakovich came in next for the Bengals finished fourth overall with a time of 11:07.10. Also scoring for the Bengals were sixth-place
Kylie Hutchison with a time of 11:15.40, eighth-place
Callie Kettner with a time of 11:20.50 and 10th place
Sasha Kent with a time of 11:23.50.
Southern Utah's Lizzy Butler won the race with a time of 10:45.90.
Bryce Jenkins came in first for the Bengals and sixth overall with a time of 20:01.80 in the men's 6K. Nicasio Westlund finished eighth with a time of 20:05.50,
KC Hunsicker was 10th with a 20:09.80, Dylan Refray was 13th with 21:16.19 and Jacob Campvell finished 14th with 20:30.80.
The men fell to Southern Utah 15-47. Southern Utah's Clinton Rhoton won the men's 6K with a time of 18:53.17.
Idaho State cross country is back in action at Brigham Young University on Sept. 14. The time is to be announced.
