WSU Fall Invite Final Results
OGDEN, Utah – It was a successful day for the ISU men's tennis program as the squad wrapped up competition at the Weber State Fall Invite Saturday afternoon in Ogden, Utah.
Senior
Nate Gross defeated teammate
Krzysztof Stempien in the semifinals of the Group A Consolation Draw 6-4, 2-6, 6-4 to advance to the finals. There Gross defeated Utah State's Nielson 6-4, 7-6 in the championship round.
Idaho State also took the top spot in the Group B Consolation Draw after freshman Vincent Kommers defeated Weber State's Trabert 6-3, 5-7, 10-3 in the championship round.

Charles Norman advanced to the semifinals of the Group A Main Draw Saturday before falling to Weber Stat's Fought 6-4, 6-2. In the Group B Main Draw, Sophomore
Austin Miller defeated Weber State's Rode in the semifinals 6-2, 6-4 but fell to Weber State's Garner in the finals to take second.
In doubles action, Miller and freshman Jamey Swiggert won the Group B Doubles Draw after defeating Weber State's Garner and Rode 9-7 in the final round.
Norman and Gross finished second in the Group A Doubles Draw after falling to Weber State's Fought and Goswawni 9-7.
ISU men's tennis competes again Friday, Oct. 5 at the Boise State Tournament in Boise, Idaho.
