ABOUT IDAHO STATE

The Idaho State tennis programs wrap up the regular season this weekend with contests against Montana and Montana State. Both teams face Montana Saturday, April 20 in Missoula, Mont. The squads then travel to Bozeman, Mont., for match-ups against Montana State Sunday, April 21. The men need to win one of the remaining two contests to guarantee at least a share of the 2013 regular season Big Sky title.

QUEST FOR THE BIG SKY CHAMPIONSHIP
The Idaho State men have clinched a spot in the Big Sky Tournament for the first time since 2006.

The ISU men are still undefeated in league play with an 8-0 record and need to win one more conference match to clinch at least a share of the Big Sky regular season championship. The last and only other time the Bengals won a Big Sky regular season title was in 1990.

The last time ISU went to a Big Sky Tournament it was in the six-team format (2006). No. 5 ISU defeated No. 4 Eastern Washington 4-1 in quarterfinal and lost to No. 1 Montana State 4-0 in the semifinal. ISU has never won a Big Sky Tournament title as a team.
