Game 6 Preview: ISU Hosts Simon Fraser

POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State football team returns home to host Simon Fraser on Saturday, October 11 in Holt Arena. Simon Fraser is a Division II school located in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. Simon Fraser plays in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference. The school is off to a 1-4 start in the 2014 season, with its lone win coming against Dixie State (29-19) on October 4. Simon Fraser averages 19.6 points a game and gives up 36.6 points. The offense is averaging 303 yards a game but giving up 424 yards.

This is the first meeting between the two schools.

- Xavier Finney has two games with two rushing touchdowns or more.
- Madison Mangum has two games with two receiving touchdowns.
- Xavier Finney needs one rushing touchdown to move into a tie for 10th place for most rushing touchdowns in a career. He currently has 14 and Craig Joseph is in 10th place with 15.
- Xavier Finney's three rushing touchdowns against Sacramento State was the most by a Bengal since Matt Gutierrez did in 2006.
