POCATELLO, Idaho- Idaho State cross country competed at the NCAA Mountain Regional Friday, November 14 in Albuquerque, N.M. As a team, the women placed eighth with 246 points. The men placed 17th with 471 points.
"The ladies ran very well," Head Cross Country Coach
Brian Janssen said. "They beat Montana State and Weber State who beat them at conference."
Kylie Hutchison led the Bengal women with a 17th place finish and 6k time of 21:42.89.
Audrey Urlacher followed Hutchison with a 44th place finish and time of 22:22:15. Coming in third for the Bengals and 46th overall was
Katie Nicholls with a time of 22:24.79.
Presli Hutchison finished 62nd (22:42.44) and
Sasha Kent wrapped up scoring with a 77th place finish and 6k time of 22:58.55.
Carly Hansen and
Angela McGraw also competed for Idaho State.
Ty James led the men with a 65th place finish and 10k time of 31:55.70.
Jacob Campbell finished behind James with a 93rd place finish and time of 33:19.99.
Tucker Boyd finished with a 10k time of 34:11.63,
Kyle DeGraaff finished 105th (35:09.00) and
Oliver Gunther wrapped up scoring for the men's team with a 106th place finish and 10k time of 35:40.08.
