POCATELLO, Idaho – The Idaho State women's basketball team hits the road for its lone contest this week, traveling to Ogden, Utah to face Weber State Saturday, Jan. 27 at 2 p.m. at the Dee Events Center.
BENGALS PREVIEW
· The Bengals have won four of the last five games including an 85-71 win at Sacramento State on Jan. 20.
Grace Kenyon was phenomenal for Idaho State, finishing with 22 points off a career-best 10-of-11 from the field to go along with a team-high 13 rebounds for her fourth double-double of the season. Four other Bengals finished with double-figures:

Saylair Grandon, 14;
Sai Tapasa, 11;
Brooke Blair, 11.
· Through 18 games, the Bengals are averaging 71.4 points per game shooting 44.7 percent from the floor to lead the Big Sky, and a conference-best 38.8 percent from three. ISU averages 39.4 rebounds per game with a +6.8 rebounding margin to go along with 7.3 steals per game and 15.2 assists per game. The Bengals also boast a conference-best +10.3 scoring margin.
· Idaho State is led in scoring by Blair at 14.5 points per game.
Grace Kenyon and
Estefania Ors also averages double-figures for the Bengals with 12.2 and 10.6 points per game, respectively.
Saylair Grandon and
Sai Tapasa are close behind at 9.7 and 9.6 points per game.

Sai Tapasa leads the rebounding effort with a 7.0 per game average while Kenyon averages 6.9 per contest.
NEARLY PERFECT
Grace Kenyon's 10-of-11 performance from the floor at Sacramento State on Saturday, Jan. 20 was a record-tying performance. Her 90.9 field goal percentage ties for the best single game field goal percentage in ISU history. Kenyon's shooting performance ties both Charly Bond and Kelly Palmer; Bond finished 10-for-11 against Weber State on Jan. 29, 1977 while Palmer finished 10-for-11 against Lewis-Clark State on Nov. 25, 1985.
ROAD WARRIORS
This season, Idaho State has played more road game (12) than any other team in the Big Sky, and the Bengals have won more road games than any other Big Sky team (8). Southern Utah has played in 11 road contests this season, while Northern Colorado has the next highest road wins with six. ISU's eight road wins are the most since the 2012-13 season.
Over the course of this season, the Bengals have performed better on the road than at home. Through 12 road games, ISU averages 72.1 points per game and 38.9 rebounds per game shooting 44.9 percent from the floor and 40.2 percent from long range. In ISU's six home games, the Bengals average 70.0 points per game and 40.3 rebounds per game shooting 44.4 percent from the floor and 35.7 percent from long range. In road games, five players average double-figures: Brook Blair, 14.4;
Grace Kenyon, 13.6;
Estefania Ors, 11.8;
Sai Tapasa, 10.9 and
Saylair Grandon, 10.7. At home, only Blair averages double-figures with 14.7 points per game.

Saturday's game at Weber State will be Head Coach
Seton Sobolewski's 300th game at Idaho State. Sobolewsi is the longest-tenured head coach in Idaho State history, and with 162 wins he is the winningest head coach in ISU history. Sobolewski became the winningest head coach in ISU history with his 94th career win, a 82-72 win over his alma mater Northern Arizona on Feb. 1, 2014.
SCOUTING WEBER STATE
· The Wildcats are 13-5 overall with a 5-2 mark in Big Sky play; WSU fell at Portland State 77-64 Jan. 20 to snap a four-game win streak. Weber State's only other conference loss is at Northern Arizona.
· WSU averages a conference-best 74.5 points per game shooting 43.3 percent from the floor and 35.2 percent from long rance. The Wildcats average 37.1 rebounds per game, 13.6 assists per game, 13.3 turnovers and 7.1 steals.
· Senior guard Larryn Brooks leads the charge for WSU with a team-best 19.6 points per contest (3rd in Big Sky) while Jaiamoni Welch-Coleman adds 10.7 and Kailie Quinn adds an even 10.0. Jocelyn Adams leads the team and ranks seventh in the conferece in rebounding with 7.7 per contest.
· The Wildcats are led by Head Coach Bethann Ord who is in her seventh season with the program.
· SERIES REVIEW: Weber State leads the all-time series 47-36 with a 26-15 advantage in Ogden. In the last game, Idaho State trailed by three points (69-66) with two minutes remaining, but WSU closed the game on a 7-4 run to claim the six-point win, 76-70.
