POCATELLO, Idaho – The Bengals will be on the road once again, traveling to Spokane, Washington to face the Gonzaga Bulldogs in the McCarthey Athletic Center Tuesday night. Idaho State (1-1) and Gonzaga (2-0) tip off at 7 p.m. MST.

Gonzaga holds a 5-2 advantage in the all-time series. The teams last met in 2014.
Grace Kenyon was the only player on either team that was playing at the time. She finished with 11 points as ISU fell 88-63.
Last Time Out
· Idaho State split a pair of games on the road last week. ISU won the season opener against California Baptist 72-57 before falling to Arizona 71-46 on Friday night.
·
Saylair Grandon and Kenyon led ISU in scoring with 31 and 22 points respectively. Kenyon shot 62.5 percent from the field and added 15 boards, eight assists, five steals and two blocks. Grandon led the team with 16 rebounds and 33.5 minutes per contest.
· Six players made their debuts for Idaho State last week including
Nuria Barrientos,
Callie Bourne,
Ellie Smith,
Melisa Kadic,
Montana Oltrogge and
Kaitlyn Bell. Bourne made appearances in both games with 13 points and seven rebounds. Oltrogge scored for the first time in her career with two free throws against Arizona.

Madison Hinrichs made two starts at point guard and averaged 7.5 points per game while shooting 54.5 percent.
·
Estefania Ors was red hot against Cal Baptist, shooting 58.3 percent overall and 75.0 percent from behind the arc for 19 points.
· Kenyon made several leaps into the record book last week. She now ranks No. 10 in ISU history in free throws made (225), rebounds (643) and blocks (77).
· In the young season, Idaho State is averaging 59.0 points, 37.5 rebounds, 11.0 assists, 7.5 steals, 2.5 blocks and 17.5 turnovers per game. They have shot 37.1 percent from the field and 20.0 percent from three.
· The Bengals were picked to finish third in the Big Sky Coaches' Preseason Poll and fourth by the media.
· Head Coach
Seton Sobolewski is in his 11th season with the program and carries a 172-143 overall record (.546). He has led the team to two postseason tournament appearances: one NCAA tournament berth and one WNIT tournament appearance.
Scouting Gonzaga
· The Bulldogs were tabbed for a first-place finish in the WCC for the sixth–consecutive season in the preseason poll.
· The Zags have already taken down a pair of Big Sky schools. Gonzaga beat Montana 76-52 in its home opener and topped Eastern Washington 63-51 on the road.
· Three players averaged double-digit points including Laura Stockton, the daughter of NBA Hall of Famer John Stockton. Stockton averaged 13 points per contest while Chandler Smith and Jill Townsend averaged 14 and 12 points per game respectively. Smith also tallied seven steals and four blocks.
· The Zags average 69.5 points, 42.0 rebounds, 12.0 assists, 14.0 steals and 6.0 blocks per game. The team shot 39.6 percent from the floor and 31.0 percent from the three-point line last week.
· Lisa Fortier is in her fifth season as head coach of the GU program. She just won her 100th game with the Bulldogs and has 35 losses.
