POCATELLO, Idaho- Idaho State women's basketball is on the road this week for it's contests against Nebraska on Dec. 6 at 4 p.m. (MST) and Kansas State on Dec. 8 at 12 p.m. (MST). The game at Nebraska will feature video on the Big Ten Network+ ($), Live Stats, and Audio. The game at Kansas State will be broadcasted on Big 12 Now on ESPN + and will also feature Live Stats and audio. Audio is brought to you by Mark Liptak and KISU radio. Nebraska
Nebraska leads the all-time series, 2-0. The two teams last met up on Dec, 1, 2012, in Lincoln, Neb. The Bengals kept the Cornhuskers close, falling just 60-51. It was a three-to-four point game in the second half but every time the Bengals made a run, Nebraska answered, specifically all-America player Jordan Hooper. The future WNBA player poured in 29 points including nine in a row. Her teammate Lindsey Moore added 13. Moore would also play in the WNBA and win a title with Minnesota. ISU was led by Lindsey Reed with 16 points and Cydney Horton with 11.

The Cornhuskers are 1-0 to start the 2020-21 season after defeating Oral Roberts, 90-61. Last season, Nebraska compiled a 17-13 record. Idaho State's Callie Bourne looks forward to competing against her sister, Isabella "Izzy" Bourne, a sophomore for Nebraska.

Kansas State
Kansas State leads the all-time series, 2-0. Head Coach Seton Sobolewski is 0-1 against the Wildcats. 

The two teams last met up on Nov. 9, 2012, in Manhattan, Kansas. The Bengals kept the Wildcats on their toes, falling 62-54 to open the 2012-13 season. ISU was down just 29-26 at the half and also out rebounded the Wildcats. Kansas State held ISU to just 35 percent shooting from the floor and 22 percent from three. Ash Vella led ISU with 12 points; she was the only one to reach double figures. Meanwhile KSU'S Brittany Chambers had a double-double 22 points and 10 rebounds.

The Wildcats are 1-1 to start the 2020-21 season with a 66-51 victory over Southern University and a 60-49 loss to Kentucky in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge. Last season, KSU went 16-13 with a 10-8 record in Big 12 conference play. 

Last Week Recap
The Bengals started the 2020-21 season with a victory over Utah State, 85-61, on Saturday afternoon. The Bengals took an early first quarter lead and never looked back. Idaho State led 21-12 at the end of the first and the lead was extended to  38-23 at halftme.

The Bengals outscored USU 29-20 in the third and led by as many as 29 points at 75-46 in the fourth quarter. ISU shot 44 percent from the field (30-68) and 33 percent from the three-point line while shooting 17-24 from the free-throw line.
 
The Bengal defense held the Aggies to just 32 percent from the field while outrebounding them, 42-40. The Bengals forced 13 Aggie turnovers that led to 16 points.
 
The victory was a team effort as 11 different Bengals scored with 32 points coming off the bench.

Dora Goles led Idaho State with 24 points, sinking 10-14 from the floor and 3-4 from beyond the three-point arc while tossing three assists. Diaba Konate followed with 17 points and three assists. Goles and Konate each produced four boards. Estefania Ors led in rebounds with nine while Callie Bourne followed with eight.
