ISU vs NAU – Watch | Live Stats | Audio
POCATELLO, Idaho – After a non-conference start against a stack of tough opponents, the Bengals enter Big Sky Conference play this week. The Orange and Black will play two conference games against Portland State and NAU before continuing non-conference play for the remainder of December.
The Bengals first head to Portland to take on the PSU Vikings Thursday, December 2 at 7 p.m. MT. The team then heads to Flagstaff to take on Northern Arizona at 2 p.m. MT.
Both matches will be broadcast on ESPN+ and Livestats will be available for both matches.
Mark Liptak will be on the call on KISU 91.1 for both contests.

Bengal Bites (With Thanks to Mark Liptak)
· For her efforts in the 2021 Cancun Challenge, Dora Goles was named to the all-tournament team. Goles shot 44 percent from the field over two games, going 11-of-25 from the field and seven-of-11 from behind the three point line.
· In the game against Park on 11/13/21, Montana Oltrogge passed 500 career points.
· The 109-56 win over park was the 2nd highest scoring game in Bengal history. (first place was a 113-107 win against Weber State in the Big Sky Tournament.)
· The 53-point differential was the fourth highest in program history.
· The Bengals 34 assists were one shy of the overall ISU record (35 vs NAU on 2-15-1992)
· In the game against Missouri, Ellie Smith Passed Grace Kenyon for 9th all-time in career blocks (105 total)
· Tomekia Whitman is ranked 5th in the conference in steals, averaging 2.3/game.
· The 22-4 2020-21 final season record was an .846-win percentage. That is the best single season mark in program history breaking the old record of .833 set by the 25-5, 2000-2001 club.
· It was the fourth NCAA appearance by the ISU woman since the start of the 2000-2001season. They have also made five WNIT appearances in that time.
· At 22-4 ISU had themselves another winning season. It was the ninth time in 13 years under Seton they've done this. They've also had a .500 year. So, the totals are: Nine winning seasons…three losing ones and a .500 campaign.
· AND they also guaranteed themselves a winning season in conference play at 18-2. It was the 10th time in 13 years under Seton this has happened.
· The 22 wins marked the seventh time in program history they have accomplished this (20+). It has happened under Seton as head coach four times, and three times in the last four years.
· They finished the season 11-0 at home. It was only the second time in program history a club went undefeated at home for the year. The 2000-2001 team went 15-0 counting the two games in the post season tournament played in Pocatello.
· Ellie Smith is now in eighth place all-time in blocked shots with 108. Next up is Natalie Doma who played from 2004-2008. She blocked 110 shots.
· Estefie Ors has scored 1,401 points, she is now sixth all-time. Next up, fifth on the list, is Grace Kenyon with 1,471 points. Ors is now in ninth place all-time in made field goals with 484. Next up with 486 field goals is Lindsey Reed who played from 2010-2014. She now has 207 made three-point shots in her career the best ever for the program. She became the 15th player in ISU WBB history with at least 1,000 points and at least 500 rebounds when she had three boards vs. Toledo in the Cancun Classic. Ors also needs 15 assists to give her 300 which would tie her for 10th place all-time with Jennifer Griffin who played from 1998-2002.
· Estefie has played in 131 games for ISU. That is the all-time program record.
· Dora Goles is now in fifth place with 149 made three-point shots. Fourth on the list is Chris Urbanski who made 172 three-pointers in her career which spanned from 1997 through 2001. She needs 33 points for 1,000 in her career. She'd become the 21st ISU WBB player to hit that mark. Goles is now tied for 10th place all-time in made field goals with 464. She's tied with Nancy Imhoff who played from 1985-1989. She needs six steals to tie for 10th place all-time at 142 with Stacey Nelson who played from 1993-1997 and Grace Kenyon who played from 2014- 2019.

Quick Scout and Series History – Portland State
· Heading into conference play, Portland State is 3-2. The Vikings have wins against Warner Pacific, Dixie State and Prairie View A&M.
· The Vikings win against Dixie State was their largest margin of the season (80- 52, 28 points)
· The Vikings are coming into the week with two consecutive losses. PSU lost a nail biter at Hawaii 71-68 and this last week lost 62-43 at Utah Valley.
· Freshman Guard #12 Esmeralda Morales is leading the Vikings offensively, Morales has 92 points in five games, averaging 18.4 ppg, good for 2nd best in the conference.
· #23 Jada Lewis is shooting 41.2 percent from three with 14 made three-pointers.
· PSU's scoring offense of 68.2 currently ranks them 3rd in the conference standings. They also have the 4th best scoring defense, holding opponents to 64.5 ppg.
This will be the 62nd meeting of the two programs.

Quick Scout and Series History – NAU
· Heading into conference play, the Lumberjacks are 1-3 after a tough non-conference start.
· NAU has losses against Washington, Washington State and UTEP.
· On 11/17, NAU defeated UNLV at home in Flagstaff 84-62.
· The Lumberjacks return a solid squad who finished third in the WBI postseason tournament last year.
· #15 Khiarica Rasheed is leading the team with 57 points in four games for a 14.3 ppg average.
· Two lumberjacks are shooting 47.1 percent from behind the arc, Nina Radford and Emily Rodabaugh. The two both have gone 8-of-17 and are averaging 2.0 3PM/G.
This will be the 74th meeting of the two Big Sky Charter members.
