POCATELLO, Idaho - The Idaho State track and field team is set to host three skills camps for K-12 athletes in June and July 2021. The Bengal Tigger Camp is for K-5th graders (June 28-30), the Jr Bengals Camp is for 6th-8th graders (June 28-30), and the Bengal Track and Field Camp is for high school athletes (July 26-28). Bengal Tigger Camp
Come join the Bengal Track and Field teams for the Bengal Tigger Camp this summer. ISU coaches are about providing a fun filled learning environment to young kids. This camp will provide campers with experience in all the events of track and field done in a fun and educational way.

JR Bengals Camp
The JR Bengals Camp is the perfect camp for young athletes who want to learn about and gain experience in the events of track and field. Campers will learn about the sprints/hurdles, throws, jumps, and distance events. Coaches will touch on each event area and present it in a fun and educational manner.

Bengal Track & Field Camp
Come join the Idaho State Track and Field teams for the Bengal Track & Field Camp. This camp is for all high school track and field athletes. Select your event area at signup. Athletes will be grouped in these event groups and remain in them throughout the camp. The will progress through all events and phases within that particular area at their own skill level. For athletes looking to refine fundamental skills or who want to learn events for the first time, this is the camp for you.
- Choose your event group:
- Sprints/Hurdles
- Learn aspects of being a top sprinter. Work on running form, block starts, and hurdle mechanics.
- Throws
- Learn the mechanics and technique of the shotput, discus, hammer, and javelin
- Distance/Mid-Distance
- Learn about the distance events. Review running form, pacing, clearing steeple barriers and race strategy
- Jumps
- Learn the mechanics and technique of the long/triple jump, high jump, and pole vault
- Work with ISU Coaches and team members
- Learn the technique, skills, and drills for your event area
- Breakout sessions about Nutrition, NCAA Eligibility Center, goal setting and mindset, and strength training

Lunch will be provided for campers between sessions
Throwers and Pole Vaulters are encouraged to bring their own throwing implements and poles. ISUTF will provide equipment but may not have everything to suit individual needs.
