POCATELLO, Idaho – The Idaho State women's tennis team returns to the court for the beginning of their 2024 season this weekend. To open their spring slate the Bengals will be traveling to Logan, Utah for their season-opener at Utah State on Saturday, January 20
th. Following their match at Utah State, Idaho State will head over to Salt Lake City, Utah where they will face off with the University of Utah on Sunday, January 21
st.
Idaho State was tabbed to finish 6
th in the Big Sky by the Coaches' Poll after finishing 4
th in the conference last season. The Bengals roster returns all but one player from last season, while also bringing on freshman,
Asem Shoybek.
Looking Ahead
After their two road matches to begin the season, the Bengals will travel to Boise State for their third match of the year on Thursday, January 25
th at 5 pm, following which the Bengals will face off with Washington State University on the next day, Friday, January 26
th at 11 am in Boise, Idaho.
