POCATELLO, ID – The Idaho State men's tennis team closed the book on the 2024 season with a No. 7 Mountain Region ranking in the final ITA regional tennis rankings of the season. In addition to its team ranking, Idaho State also had two individuals in the final polls as well.
In singles,
Valentino De Pellegrin closed the season at No. 20, and in doubles, the tandem of
Valentino De Pellegrin and
Victor Sklenka were ranked No. 9 in the final rankings and were the third highest-rated doubles team in the region from the conference.
The Bengal duo was named All-Big Sky this past season. De Pellegrin earned Singles First-Team honors after going 13-8 on the season, while De Pellegrin and Sklenka earned Doubles First-Team honors following a 9-8 record this year.
