FARMINGTON, Utah – The Big Sky Conference has announced Idaho State Redshirt-Sophomore,
Dylan Darling, as their Conference Player of the Week, Tuesday morning. Darling receives his first career Player of the Week nod after putting together a career week of play.
Dylan Darling led the Idaho State Bengals to a 2-1 record on the week, including an eight-point victory over Eastern Washington and a big 16-point win over rivals, Idaho, 87-71. The 2
nd most points scored by a Bengal team on the Vandals since the 1993-94 season
For the three-game week, Darling would average 25.7 points on 47.8% (22-46) shooting from the floor and 43.5% (10-23) from three-point range, 6.3 assists, 5 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game.
Dylan would tally a career high vs. Eastern Washington, dropping 29 points on 8-15 shooting from the floor and 3-8 shooting from beyond the arc, a career high nine rebounds, six assists, and two steals in 37 minutes of action.
In the Bengals game for King Spud against Idaho, Darling would drop 28 points on 8-16 shooting from the field and a career high 6-11 from deep, nine assists, and two rebounds in 37 minutes played.
He is the second Bengal to earn Big Sky weekly honors this season,
