Men's Basketball Releases 2025-26 Big Sky Conference Schedule

POCATELLO, Idaho - The Idaho State Bengals Men's Basketball team has released their 2025-26 Big Sky Conference schedule, looking to improve upon their recent seasons' successes.

The Bengals tallied a 15-15 overall record last season, and 10-8 in Big Sky Conference play, and will play in 31 total contests this season, not including their post-season Big Sky Tournament. Idaho State will play 14 of their contests at home in Reed Gym, while they will play the other 17 games on the road or at a neutral site.

The Bengals will open Big Sky Conference play at home against the new-look Sacramento State Hornets on New Year's Day, Jan. 1st, 2026, followed by another home game on Jan. 3rd versus Portland State.

ISU then hits the road for their first road trip of conference play, traveling to Greeley, CO & Flagstaff, AZ to take on UNC and NAU on Jan 8th and 10th.

Idaho State returns home for two games, hosting rivals, the Idaho Vandals, on Jan 15th, and Eastern Washington on Jan. 17th.

The Bengals face their toughest task of the conference season with their 4-game roadtrip, first traveling to Montana State on Jan. 22nd, followed by Montana on Jan. 24th. ISU continues their road trip with Weber State on Jan. 31st, and to cap it off the Bengals take on Portland State in Portland, OR on Feb. 2nd.

ISU returns home to Reed Gym to host NAU on Feb. 5th and UNC on Feb. 7th. But will turn right back around for 2-game roadtrip to EWU on Feb. 12th followed by Idaho in Moscow, ID on Valentine's Day.

Idaho State will have their final home games of the season against Montana (2/19), Montana State (2/21), and Weber State (2/28) which will also be Senior Day for ISU.

To cap off their 2025-26 regular season, the Bengals will be in Sacramento, CA to take on Sacramento State on March 2nd before traveling to Boise, ID for the Big Sky Conference Tournament on March 7th – 11th.

Idaho State, with seventh-year Head Coach Ryan Looney at the helm, features six returning players and nine newcomers on the 2025-26 roster.
