POCATELLO, Idaho – The Idaho State women's tennis team returns to the court for the first time of the 2025-26 school year, as they host their annual ISU Invite at Capell Park in Chubbuck, ID from Friday September 12
th to Sunday September 14
th. The first match will kickoff Friday at noon, and matches on Saturday and Sunday will begin at 9 AM.
In this invitational the format is an individual draw in both singles and doubles play. Meaning that players from the same school could end up playing each other in the draw.
The different teams participating besides ISU will be Utah Tech and University of Montana.
Since last the season the Bengals have graduated
Olivia Mikkelson head coach, Grectchen Maloney, has had a busy summer, adding three freshmen to the roster,
Journee Hartman (Idaho Falls,ID),
Emmy Richards (Bountiful, UT), and E
velina Zhuk (Khazakstan). The All-Big Sky Team Doubles duo of
Asem Shoybek and
Stefanya Shalakhova, along with the Freshman of the Year,
Millie Day, senior
Sydney Morris, and sophomores
Victoria Grymalska, and
Veronika Zarovna make up the squad.
