Bengal Football Ranked in Stats FCS and AFCA Fotball Polls

Stats Perform FCS Poll | AFCA Coaches Poll

POCATELLO, Idaho - After the 29-17 win over Utah State in Logan this weekend, the Idaho State Bengals are ranked in both major polls for the first time since 2018.

Idaho State is No. 17 in the Stats Perform FCS Poll with 478 points earned. After receiving votes last week, the Bengals broke into the AFCA Coaches Poll at No. 24 garnering 75 points. 

This is the first time Idaho State has been ranked in both polls since week 10 of the 2018 season when ISU was ranked No. 24 in the media poll and 25 in the coaches poll. the No. 17 ranking is the highest for the Bengals since week 8 of the 2003 season when the Bengals made the jump to 17 after going up to 5-2 on the season. 

In the Stats poll 5 Big Sky Schools are ranked with two others receving votes. Montana State is still the consensus #1 in the nation, Montana is coming in at #3 followed by UC Davis at #7. The Bengals are in the #17 spot with NAU holding the #24 ranking. Southern Utah and Cal Poly are both receiving votes in the poll.
