Biography

Idaho State (2025-26): Started all 30 games for the Bengals, serving as the engine of Idaho State's backcourt on both ends of the floor … averaged 9.5 points, 7.2 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 3.3 steals per game while logging 31.4 minutes per contest … broke the Idaho State all-time steals record against Northern Arizona (1/10) and finished the season with 98 steals, ranking #15 nationally in steals per game (3.14) and #20 nationally in total steals … posted a career-high-tying 10 assists at Utah Valley (12/20) and matched a season-high 7 steals on four separate occasions … delivered a season-high 20 points at Northern Colorado (2/7), going 8-13 from the field including a career-best 4-of-7 from three-point range … recorded five double-doubles, including a 17-point, 10-rebound, 7-steal outing against Montana State (1/22) … grabbed a season-high 14 rebounds at Weber State (2/28), going 8-for-8 from the free throw line … shot 40.7% from the field and 34.2% from three, both career bests, while converting 76.1% from the line … led the Big Sky in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.58), ranked #2 in assists (4.10 APG) and steals (3.27 SPG), and placed #7 in rebounding (7.17 RPG) … also ranked #100 nationally in rebounds per game and #116 in assists per game … tallied 123 assists against just 78 turnovers, showcasing elite decision-making and floor vision … earned First Team All-Big Sky and All-Big Sky Defensive Team honors.

Idaho State (2024-25):Started 30 of 31 games, anchoring the Bengals' frontcourt with energy and leadership … recorded a career-high 22 points and 13 rebounds at Portland State (2/20) … notched six double-digit scoring games and 13 double-digit rebounding performances, including three straight to close the regular season … contributed 119 assists and a team-best 81 steals, showcasing her all-around impact on both ends of the floor... Led the team with 7.8 rebounds per game and added 7.9 points per game … second on the roster in assists and averaged 2.6 steals per contest … shot 36.7% from the field and appeared in all 31 games... Was named to the All-Big Sky Defensive Team and finished the season ranked #2 in steals in the Big Sky with 2.6 SPG.


Idaho State (2023-24): Played and started in all 30 games for the Bengals… finished the year with 967 minutes on the court… shot 36.7% from the floor, 34.1% from behind the three-point line, and 73.8% from the free throw line while averaging 6.9 points per game… grabbed 85 offensive rebounds and 123 defensive rebounds on the year… tallied up 14 blocks and 62 steals… had a season-high with 16 points at Sacramento State (03/09/24)... set a career-best for rebounds in a game with 14 against Park (AZ) (11/08/23)... named to the inaugural Big Sky All-Defensive team (3/08/24)... named to the Big Sky Winter All-Academic Team. 

Idaho State (2022-23): The Bengal freshman made an immediate impact… played in 26 games for the Bengals starting in 13… averaging 29.8 minutes per game.. 36.7% from the floor with 65 made field goals... defensively averaged 5.9 rebounds per game, grabbed 53 offensive boards... totaled 48 steals during the season, third best in the Big Sky Conference... against California Baptist had a career-high double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds (11/26/22)... named to the Big Sky Winter All-Academic Team. 

Ferris High School: As a four-sport athlete at Ferris HS, Spink earned honors in Track, Volleyball and Soccer. In basketball, Spink was an All-GSL Honorable Mention selection and 2022 First Team All-GSL member. She also earned an invite to the 2022 senior All-State game and Washington/North Idaho All-State game. Kacey also excelled academically. She was named the GSL Scholar Female Athlete of the Year. She was a four-year project and she won first place at the Washington State science and engineering fair.

Personal: Daughter of Kelley and Scott Spink, Kacey is in Pocatello majoring in Mechanical Engineering. She also has two brothers, Tyler and McCoy.
