High School: Earned First Team All-West Catholic Athletic League honors during her junior and senior seasons... named to the All-Metro Softball First Team as a senior... selected as the Outstanding Senior Athlete at Saint Francis High School during her senior year... was part of the Saint Francis High School varsity softball teams that won the Central Coast Section championships in 2024 and 2025.

Travel Ball: Competed with Warrior Academy.

Personal: Hayden is the daughter of Krista and Tyler Hummel and has five siblings, Taylor, Ryder, Jaelyn, Jack, and Cole. Outside of softball, she enjoys spending time outdoors, working out, caring for her siblings, and creating art. Hayden chose Idaho State because of the program’s strong team cohesion and family-like atmosphere, along with the impressive new softball facility, welcoming coaching staff, and the comprehensive support system provided to student-athletes, which made Idaho State the ideal place for her growth both on and off the field.
