Jack Taylor Classic Draws
POCATELLO, Idaho – The Idaho State women's tennis team opens the 2012 fall season at the Jack Taylor Classic this weekend. The three-day competition is hosted by Boise State and will be held at the BSU Appleton Tennis Center. Play begins Friday, Sept. 28 and runs through Sunday, Sept. 30.
The field of competition features 11 teams including Boise State, Brigham Young, Colorado State, Eastern Washington, Idaho, Montana, Montana State, Seattle, Utah State and Weber State with approximately 75 total participants.
The 2012-13 tennis team features four returners in sophomores
Marian Tangarife and
Natalie Clark as well as junior
Zamira Vasquez and senior
Rachel Ryan. The squad welcomes five newcomers:
Kasey Bacon, Wiebke Boekmann, Svanja Tegtmeier,
Laura Theus and
Madelyn Weltzin.
