POCATELLO, Idaho – Idaho State women's basketball will conclude nonconference play with its first full week of games in Reed Gym. The Bengals host Utah Valley at 7 p.m. Thursday night and Pepperdine at 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

Idaho State
-The Bengals are now just one game below .500 (3-4) after starting the season against a string of tough competition on the road. They have won both games in Reed Gym including their exhibition against Chico State.
-With her strong performance against Benedictine-Mesa,
Estefania Ors joined
Grace Kenyon and
Saylair Grandon as the only players averaging double figures this season. Ors leads the team with 12.3 points per contest while Kenyon and Grandon average 11.7 and 10.7 respectively.
-Kenyon, Grandon and
Sai Tapasa all average more than five rebounds per game with Kenyon leading the team at 6.4. Kenyon also leads the team in assists (23) with Grandon (21) and
Callie Bourne (17) close behind.
-All six players with multiple starts average more than 20 minutes of playing time with Grandon leading the way at 32.1 minutes per game.
Montana Oltrogge and
Delaney Moore are the only other players with more than 10 minutes of play per game. Just six players have appeared in every game this season.
-Idaho State averages 61.1 points, 36.4 rebounds, 14.1 assists, 5.9 steals, 2.6 blocks and 17.6 turnovers per game. The team has shot 40.1 percent from the field and 31.4 percent from three-point range this season while limiting opponents to a 39.3 field goal percentage.
-The Bengals were picked to finish third in the Big Sky Coaches' Preseason Poll and fourth by the media.

Seton Sobolewski is in his 11th season with the program and carries a 174-146 overall record. He has led the team to two postseason tournament appearances: one NCAA tournament berth and one WNIT tournament appearance.

Idaho State is 9-5 against Utah Valley. They have a dominant edge when playing in Reed Gym with six wins and just one loss. The Bengals have won the last four matchups and have not lost to Utah Valley since falling 59-56 in Orem, Utah on Dec. 20, 2013.
Utah Valley Wolverines

-Utah Valley is 4-4 this season although the Wolverines enter the game on a three-game skid. UVU has yet to win a game on the road. The team is coming off a 60-59 loss to Southern Utah.
-Jordan Holland and Eve Braslis both average 11 points per contest with Alexis Cortez just behind with an average of 9.9. Holland (6.3) and Braslis (6.1) are the only players with more than five rebounds per contest.
-The duo also leads the team with 13 steals apiece. Braslis leads all players in shooting percentage with a 54 percent conversion rate from the floor.
-Maria Carvalho has started six games at the point and has tallied 32 assists while averaging 7.0 points per game. Josie Williams holds the team lead in blocks with eight.
-Utah Valley has shot 43.3 percent from the floor, 31.8 percent from the three-point line and 79.1 percent from the free-throw line this season. The Wolverines average 66.5 points, 36.9 rebounds, 14.4 assists, 11.1 steals, 2.6 blocks and 19.5 turnovers per game.
-The Wolverines are led by Cathy Nixon who is in her 24th season as head coach at UVU. She carries a 180-261-1 overall record.

-Idaho State held its home opener against Benedictine University at Mesa last Thursday and upgraded its win count with an 88-51 victory.
-Ors had the hot hand, scoring 22 points while going 4-5 from the three-point line. The junior was 7-11 overall and added three rebounds and assists.
-Kenyon, Tapasa and Oltrogge also reached double figures with Kenyon scoring 15 and Tapasa and Oltrogge each collecting 11 points. Kenyon was one rebound shy of her second double-double this season while Oltrogge and Tapasa combined for seven boards.

Madison Hinrichs never turned over the ball and added seven points and a career-high six assists. Bourne chipped in with six points and four assists.

Nuria Barrientos scored their first career points.
- No Idaho State player had more than three turnovers in the game with six players posting a clean sheet. ISU had a 49.2 field goal percentage while limiting BEN to 34 percent. ISU also sank 41.2 percent of its three-point attempts.
-The Bengals tallied 22 assists on 31 made field goals and owned the boards with 46 rebounds to the Benedictine-Mesa's 24. Five different players for ISU also tallied a block.
