POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State track and field team competed in their final competition before the conference meet Monday, May 3 and Tuesday, May 4 in Ogden, Utah.
Men
Leo Finsterbusch placed second in the hammer with a throw of 57.58m (188' 11"). Finsterbusch also came in fourth in the discus with a mark of 48.96m (160' 07").
Zack Ramos placed second in the discus with a throw of 49.82m (163' 5"). He also came in third in the shot put with a mark of 16.02m (52' 6.75").
Keegan Luker earned a new personal best in the shot put with a mark of 16.01m (52' 6.5") to take fourth place.
In the high jump,
Owen Mitchell walked away with third place, jumping 2.05m (6' 8.75").
Kobee Gunter placed second in both the triple jump and long jump, he jumped 13.19m (43' 3.25") and 6.66m (21' 10.25"). Gunter earned a new personal record in the long jump.
In the pole vault,
Tyler Valenzuela came in fifth with a jump of 4.75m (15' 7") and
Josh Anderson followed in sixth place with a jump of 4.40m (14' 5.25").
On the track,
Garrett Condelario fourth placed fourth in the 5000m running a time of 15:46.49.
Ethan Garrett placed sixth and set a new personal record in the 110 hurdles, running a time of 15.36.
Women
Kapri Orton placed second in the high jump, jumping a new personal best of 1.73m (5' 8").
Madison Cicierski placed sixth in the discus with a mark of 45.43m (149').
In the hammer,
Sarah Wilensky earned a new personal best of 50.70m (166' 4"), placing seventh overall. This mark places her ninth in the record books.
In the pole vault,
Brooke Anger placed third jumping 3.65m (11' 11.75") and
Sierra Kiser placed sixth jumping 3.50m (11' 5.75").
On the track,
Megan Treasure placed sixth and set a new personal record in the 400m, running a time of 59.55.
Allison Teemant-Radmall placed sixth in the 800m, with a time of 2:17.66.
Haven Lambrite came in third in the 3000m Steeplechase, with a time of 11:37.77.
