Loveland Named First Full-Time Golf Coach in Program History

POCATELLO, Idaho- Idaho State Athletics has announced that Todd Loveland has been named the program's first full-time women's golf coach.

"We are excited to welcome Coach Todd Loveland to Pocatello," Idaho State Director of Athletic Pauline Thiros said. "We are committed to the growth of our women's golf program and we are truly pleased that coach Loveland is our first full-time head coach as we work to elevate the program."

Loveland comes to Pocatello after extensive coaching experience in the state of Idaho. He has been the Head Golf Coach at Bishop Kelly since 2018. He has been the Assistant Golf Professional at Lakeview Golf Club since 2019 and he started the TGA Premier Junior Golf of Boise in 2013.

"It is an honor to become the next head women's golf coach for the Idaho State Bengals," Loveland said. "I am excited to begin working with our student-athletes and looking forward to living in this great community."

Loveland replaces Dallen Atkins who has served as the team's coach since 2017. During Atkins tenure he guided the Bengals to unprecedented success while rewriting the record book.
Atkins coached 16 players that shot record rounds. His team shot a record round of 297 in last year's Big Sky Conference tournament.

"We appreciate the work Dallin put in to build our program," Thiros said. "He committed many hours building a foundation for success as we welcome a full time head coach to our campus."
